Charging stations for electric vehicles

In Vendays-Montalivet, everyday mobility is changing. More and more residents and visitors use electric vehicles — cars, bicycles or scooters. Supporting this shift and encouraging more sustainable mobility can begin with one small local initiative.

We propose installing electric vehicle charging stations in Vendays-Montalivet.

These stations, accessible to all — cars, electric scooters and bikes — could be placed in central locations in the village, such as the school car parks or the tourist office, and could partly run on solar energy (for example via a small solar carport).

This initiative would provide a useful everyday service, encourage the use of renewable energy and send a strong signal of collective responsibility and commitment.
