The pool in winter \u2013 sharing it so everyone can benefit<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Vendays-Montalivet, we\u2019re lucky to have several pools \u2013 even if they are all located in tourist centres and not open to the public.<\/p>\n

One of them is rented by the municipality during the winter, so that children from both local schools can have swimming lessons.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a great initiative and a smart way to use existing infrastructure.<\/p>\n

We suggest taking it one step further: since the pool is already heated, maintained and open for the children’s lessons, why not also use it at other times for additional activities?<\/p>\n

For example: aquagym, aquabike, public sessions through Monta Sport, or even a small local swimming club.<\/p>\n

This would turn a good project into a real community space, open to all: children, adults, seniors, year-round residents and seasonal workers. The ocean is often too cold in winter, but a nearby pool could become a place to stay fit, meet others, and enjoy time together.<\/p>\n

A simple, realistic and useful idea that shows how a bit of imagination can do a lot for everyone\u2019s well-being.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
