A cycle route does exist between Montalivet and the CHM, but its route is not very practical and it is rarely used by pedestrians. Many people therefore prefer to walk along the road.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1ea4cde7 e-con-full e-flex <strong>a continuous and easily walkable pedestrian path between the parking area and the CHM fence.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This path would make it possible to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>reach the CHM entrance safely from parked vehicles<\/li>\n<li>walk between the CHM and Montalivet<\/li>\n<li>improve safety along Avenue de l\u2019Europe for everyone<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A simple path improvement would be enough to achieve this goal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional measure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We also propose extending the opening hours of Porte Pin\u00e8de, located north of the CHM, during the high season and on weekends.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors could then reach Montalivet more easily and quickly on foot, which would reduce car use.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This measure would be relatively simple to implement but would have clear effects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>greater safety for pedestrians<\/li>\n<li>fewer dangerous situations in traffic<\/li>\n<li>a better connection between the CHM and Montalivet<\/li>\n<li>more visitors choosing to walk instead of driving<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If more people travel on foot, it also means fewer cars in the centre of Montalivet, particularly during the high season.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes small improvements can make everyday life much safer and more pleasant for everyone.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div
